WHERE IT STARTED
Raised in the bar rooms of Slidell, Louisiana.
Our mom, Wendy, spent her career behind the bar. She taught us everything — how to pour, how to listen, and how to make every single person feel like a regular.
Most of our aunts, uncles, and favorite babysitters were all of our mother's bar patrons. We grew up in those bar rooms and considered those patrons family. That's not just a nice story — it's the foundation of everything we do.
We take great pride in providing great service and great drinks. But the most important thing to us are the relationships we form with all of those we serve.


THE BIG SISTER
Aspen Van Brunt
Aspen was trained to bartend by our mother — the original. She continued sharpening her craft through 17 years at Copelands of Slidell, learning every angle of the service industry from the inside out.
She earned her business degree in 2015 and has always dreamed of running her own business. BYOB is that dream, built on two decades of experience and a lifetime of watching what great hospitality looks like.
THE LITTLE SISTER
Brooke Van Brunt
Brooke was trained by Aspen — because of course she was. It's a whole family affair. She started at Copelands in 2012 as a host and worked her way up through catering, offsite events, serving, and mixology before earning her spot behind the bar.
If Aspen is the architect, Brooke is the energy. Together they balance precision with personality, and that's what makes BYOB different from every other bartending service out there.

THE "OFFICIAL" ORIGIN STORY
How it really started.
Aspen has been in the service industry since she was conceived. Our mother, Wendy, was a bar wench her entire life and met our father outside of a bar on St. Patrick's Day in Olde Towne, Slidell, Louisiana.
Aspen was born on a bar room floor and forced to serve right out the womb. She did such a great job bartending that her parents decided to increase profits and have another daughter. This daughter was born in the alley behind the bar. Her name is Brooke.
With two daughters, their parents' profit boomed. Aspen and Brooke became the best sister bartenders Slidell has ever seen.
Just kidding. We just like to give people a good laugh and a good time.
Which is why we're so great at what we do. We tend to leave a mark on everyone we meet.
